If we’re going to make a dip, we should do it properly. And this Persian cucumber dip is doing things properly.

You take a classic, refreshing yogurt dip – then elevate it to the next level.

We start with a creamy Greek yogurt then get the traditional grated cucumber and ripped mint leaves in there.

Next you throw a handful of raisins in to give the dip more texture, and then bam! You surprise everyone with chopped walnuts and drizzle of olive oil over the top – finally garnished with a few more chopped mint leaves to really finish things off.

The problem with Persian cucumber dips

The only problem we’ve really come across so far is finding enough things to dip into it! It so tasty and really easy we keep making more. In fact, while testing and refining the recipe we constantly ran out of dippables and had to find more!
