Vegan French Toast - Sweet Version
This vegan French toast should be on every food radar. Our simple guide with the dos and don’ts of French toast means breakfast has never been easier!
- 1 tsp sugar
- 8 strawberries, fresh (chopped)
Cut the bread into triangles.
Blend the milk, water, flour, half the sesame seeds, the salt, vanilla essence, and cinnamon powder together well.
Soak the bread in the milk mix in a wide bowl for about 30 seconds, pressing the bread down so it soaks up the mixture.
Meanwhile, heat up a pan on medium heat and add the oil/margarine.
Cook the bread until golden brown on both sides, roughly 3 minutes each side. If it needs longer, give it some extra so it’s nice and crispy.
Cover in favourite toppings. Enjoy!
