Ingredients

  • 1 pear
  • 2 oz (55 g) goat cheese
  • 4 tbsp pesto (or your favourite)
  • 4 slices whole wheat bread (or rye bread)
  • 1 handful baby spinach
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Thinly slice the pear and slice the goat’s cheese.
  • Spread the pesto on each slice of bread.
  • Layer the spinach next, then pear, then the goats cheese on top. Drizzle a little honey next. Season with a pinch of salt.
  • Stick under the grill for 4-5 minutes. Done! If you’re feeling naughty add a little more honey. Yummy.
