Ingredients

  • tbsp olive oil (4½ tbsp = ca.70ml)
  • 2 bars (200 g) dark chocolate
  • 3 ripe banana
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tbsp natural yogurt
  • cup (150 g) flour
  • ½ cup (50 g) chocolate powder (Baking chocolate powder is widely available, otherwise you can use something like Nesquik)
  • 3-4 tbsp honey (or 4 tbsp honey = ½ cup/100g brown sugar)
  • 3 tsp baking powder (3 tsp = 15g)

Optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • Get a pot and add the olive oil. Put it on a low heat and add the chocolate to let it melt.
  • When you see it’s melting turn off the heat and add the bananas to the pot. Mash them and mix well with chocolate and olive oil.
  • Add the eggs and yogurt. Again mix well.
  • In another bowl add the flour and chocolate powder.
  • Then add the baking powder and mix well.
  • Now slowly stir in the flour mixture to the liquid mixture so that no lumps appear.
  • Finally, stir in the honey or brown sugar to sweeten it up.
  • If you're using them, add the chocolate chips.
  • Grab a baking tray (greased or on baking paper) and layer the mixture over.
  • Stick it in the oven for about 30 mintues.
  • Done. That should get you some action on Valentine’s Day!
