I just finished watching the trailer of the movie Tropic Thunder (saw the film ages ago). And I have to say it’s a hilarious piece, oh dear. Luckily, this recipe isn’t anything like a war comedy movie.

The name fits anyway, because you’re “oating” up a tropical flavour storm in this overnights oats recipe!

Pineapple goes so well with coconut and vanilla – it’s an absolute classic. And for breakfast too!

An excellent choice of milk would be rice or coconut milk since it complements nicely with the other ingredients as well.

Pineapple goes so well with coconut and vanilla, you wouldn’t believe. An excellent choice of milk would be rice milk. Enjoy your Oatmeal!

  • For extra fanciness: blend the pineapple together with the vanilla extract and coconut flakes.
  • Layer oats and milk and pineapple mash one after each other.
