HP – Couscous Kaiserschmarrn Recipe

Ingredients
- ¼ cup couscous
- ⅓ cup milk of choice
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Pinch salt
- ¼ cup all purpose flour
- 1 tsp butter
- ¼ cup berries or fruit of choice
- Powdered sugar (for serving)
Instructions
- In a medium sized bowl add the couscous and milk.¼ cup couscous, ⅓ cup milk of choice
- Add to the bowl of the egg, greek yogurt, vanilla extract, sugar and salt. Mix until incorporated. Then add the flour and mix until there are no lumps and it is fully incorporated.2 large eggs, ½ cup Greek yogurt, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 tbsp sugar, Pinch salt, ¼ cup all purpose flour
- In a pan melt the butter. Once it’s very hot add the kaiserschmarrn batter and fry on medium-low heat for 13-15 minutes with a lid on. Flip after half the time roughly or when the surface becomes dry.1 tsp butter
- Once cooked, tear the pieces and scoop into two plates. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with more greek yogurt and berries or fruits of choice.¼ cup berries or fruit of choice, Powdered sugar
NOTES
If you want a silkier or softer kaiserschmarrn, before making the recipe process or blend the couscous grains into a fine powder. Then make the recipe exactly as indicated in the instructions.
